Support Our School Garden - SVGives Today

In partnership with Silicon Valley International School and through the annual Silicon Valley Gives event, we are raising funds today for our outdoor gardening science program for 2016-2017.

Donations made today, Tuesday, May 3, may be matched by community and event sponsors.
Please donate today!

The John Gill outdoor gardening science program for the 2016-17 school year will be cross-curricular, project-based, and an interactive approach to language immersion instruction. Through this outdoor science opportunity, students will be learning about healthy foods, healthy living, and becoming good stewards of our planet. Join us in helping them reach the goal of $15,000 to bring this program to fruition.

IMPORTANT: When making your donation, please note which project(s) your funds will go toward.

  1. John Gill School – Redwood City School District - for the purpose of an outdoor garden that aims to support science education, social/emotional learning, project-based learning, and Mandarin language education through hands-on learning
  2. Campbell/San Jose Summer School - intensive reading/math for economically disadvantaged students in the Campbell/San Jose School District neighborhoods.
